Photos and How-To: Be the Billboard!

Here are all of the tools you need to be the living, breathing billboard for Obama-Biden (or any other folks you support wherever you are):

  1. Obama Yard Sign 
  2. Scissors
  3. Velcro Tape (found in fabric or craft store) OR duct tape (for a more semi permanent placement)
  4. Surface on which to place the tape and sign.
I recommend a backpack, school bag or even a jacket or coat depending on the material (alas, synthetic works best.)

STEPS:
  1. Take the Obama-Biden yard sign, remove the metal frame that is used to stick it into the ground and lovingly cut it in half along the seams to create two signs.
  2. Cut the velcro tape (or cut/rip the duct tape)
  3. Peel off and expose the sticky side of the velcro tape
  4. Place and stick velcro tape on the object of clothing (or backpack or whatever)
  5. Peel off other side of velcro tape and stick to the back side of one of your newly cut yard signs
  6. Smooth the velcro down tightly so that you can stick and unstick it at will.  NOTE:  This is the whole point of using the velcro in that when you need to (say to comply with local election laws or employer regulations) you can just pop the sign off and stow it away until you leave the premises.
